My father-in-law just traded his '00 Durango for a newer vehicle (we won't even go there :shakehead). It had the SLT Plus package, 4X4, with a shade under 70k miles. It also had the towing package and was basically decked out with all the options. Plus the vehicle was in great shape, and he changed the oil every 3k miles. He got just under $7,000 for it. What a shame. The salesman said that because the Big 3 had the employee pricing a while back that it has destroyed the resale value of most of these vehicles.

I for one plan on driving my '00 4X4 Durango into the ground. At least until the maintenance costs exceed that of a new or newer vehicle.

Anyone looking for a used Durango in great shape!?!?
