water leak

I have 98 grand prix gt, and i have recently discovered a water leak. It has been raining here for two days now, and everything i get in my car i see a puddle of water on the passenger side floorboard. I dont noticed a dripping from the windshield or anything and nothing but the floor/carpet is wet. The seat is dry, under the seat is dry.

The only thing that is wet is the front floormat and the carpet under it (where you sit your feet).

Can anyone help me diagnose the problem.

I have two theories.

1) Bottom door seal
2) Windshield weatherstripping (but i have taken my hand along the inside of the winshield, and havent felt water at all).

i had the same problem in my grand am, but most pontiacs are made the same so you could give this a shot. on the bottom of the windshield theres a plastice black cover that stops the water from going behind the firewall. often times the glue behind that will break and cause it to warp and allow water in. there was some kind of flap (not sure what it was) but the flap remained opne like 1/4" and the water go down insde that crack and on the top of the floormat. i finaly got my windshield fix cuz it was cracked and they replaced that molding and it never leaked again. but it sounds like they are leaking from the same places so just check the bottom molding of the windshield.
