bad timing for bad timing

boys -
i don't know how i did it, but i must have botched my tune up. :banghead:
i replaced the wires, plugs, cap and rotor like i've done hundreds of times before but this time something has gone wrong.
i labled the wires so i wouldn't mess up, but it looks like i did anyway.
1) i'm trying accel u-grove plugs for the first time and i gapped them to .54 as suggested by the package. should i have done what the stock gaps should have been? are accel u-groves lame?
2) she idled and started terrifically, but there was absolutly no acceleration and she shook like there was an engine twice her size under the hood.
3) i thought maybe the computer was getting used to the new plugs and wires so i drove it around for a bit on the way home from work and the check engine light came on and she was smoking from under the hood when i got home. i couldn't get to a flashlight fast enough to see where it was coming from, but it smelt like burnt motor. i only drove about 2 miles home from work.
4) so i tried arranging the plugs in the order outlined in the chiltons manual. i haven't known the timing to have been changed, although i am the second owner. no she won't start and i have no idea what the timeing is.

how can i find the correct order and how can i find out how to arrange the plugs on the cap. i am hopeing that its off a complete 180 and i'll try to reverse everything in the morning. anyone have any suggestions?:banghead:

never mind, i was just 15 degrees off like an idiot. but i am still interested in the review of u-spark plugs. i got them off brothers and thats all they were selling for the 5.0.

i use autolites not to expensive and they are good plugs no trouble out of them
