manual window problem

My friend has a 90 integra with manual windows. The drivers side is down and we found that the crank mechanism inside the door is either stripped or broke. We can't figure how to take it out.Does anyone know how to take it out or is there some kind of manual online. I think I saw a link that someone posted a long time ago for a manual, but I haven't been able to find it. For the last 3 months there hasn't been any rain but the forecast is calling for some this weekend. The car is a beater but he needs the window up mainly cause it gets pretty cold in the mornings. Well I've rambled on enough so if someone can help, we would appreciate it.
