Does anyone know how to replace the cc/turn signal stalk switch on a 2000 suburban? Mine seems to have become loose when you touch it doesn't feel tight. Functionality it is still working, but I found a round sponge-like piece on the floorboard (not sure if related), and the cruise control part seems to turn easier on the end of the stalk switch which seems rotate almost 270 degrees. can anyone help
thanks

I replaced one once on a Buick, I found where the stalk wire connected under the dash area. There was a small hole in the connector that I tied a strong but small string to. I then pulled the broken stalk with the wire out and carefully pulled the wire out. Once the string is out I tied the new connector on the new stalk to the string and then carefully pulled the sting from the bottom till the wire was thru the steering housing, plug in and remount the stalk.
Again, I did this on a Buick. I would think the Suburban would be close to this.
Someone else, help us out here, would this work?
