thermostat location

i bought a new thermostat itll be her wednesday. im just curious where it would be located at on my car. i did buy the new gasket i figured i dont want any problems so i mine as well. is it really easy to put in or isa it hard to. any tips or guidlines i should i know beofre blowing up my engine.

Follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine block. It connects to the block via the thermostat housing. That is where the thermostat is located. When you remove the thermostat, clean everything and then reinstall. Just make sure you don't overtighten the bolts that hold it in place. Bleed the system of air and refill the coolant. You can do this by leaving the radiator cap off the radiator and running it until the thermostat opens. Refill to the top and reinstall the cap. Fill the reservoir and go for it.
