Yes they do, actually. I love Disturbed's "10,000 fists" album, but after downloading a bunch of random sevendust songs I think Disturbed have met their match in my book.

Their shit was awesome!

The songs I got are:

Trust, Angel's Son, Beautiful, Black, Broken Down, Denial, Enemy, Face to Face, Licking Cream, Bitch, Live Again (best evar!), Praise, Suffocate, and Ugly (awesome song).

Damnit! I can't stop listening to them to the point I've nerfed my listening of Disturbed.

<3 Sevendust.

I'm gunna get the Anamosity album as soon as I get a chance, I'm hoping tomorrow. I also plan on getting some of their other albums as well. I was told Anamosity is a brilliant album, and from the songs I hear I am expecting to love it!.

If you want a few suggestions for some Sevendust songs, get "Broken Down", and "Live Again", I also love the song "Ugly" which is awesome, and is a new song of theirs. They're all good!

If you liek them too and have a fav song I haven't posted tell me NOW BITCH!!!...(Please :-).) :p

I like sevendust too. But I really don't think you can compare the two bands.

Not to mention sevendust was out before Disturbed.
If you like Sevendust get the double live album its all acoustic but it rocks. Also animosity is a excellent album along with Home.
A band that has a few of sevendust members in it is Dark New Day their jammin also I would recomend them to if you like Sevendust.

The first Sevendust song I can remember hearing was when a buddy played "Skeleton Song" for me.

first sevendust song i heard and got me interested was Praise from their Animosity album. Yeah, i got into them pretty late in the game.

well I'm only just getting into them now, I found their "best-of" cd around, nothing else yet, the albums good, I like it!

BTW I know I can't compare disturb and 7dust, I ment in my book, liek, I loved their new album, I literally played it non-stop all the time, but after listening to some Sevendust songs, I like them better! :-)

my top 2 bands are still the same since high school, Tool and Sublime.

speaking of which, Tool finally announced an estimated date on the release of their new album spring '06. verrrry secretive, that bunch is...

Ah, sevendust. The only topic powerful enough to make me post.

I've been a sevendust fan since 2001. I admit I wasn't on board from the start, but I've made up for that with my undying loyalty. They're certainly a lot more melodic than most other metal acts out there- and MOrgan Rose is a scary mother fucker.

Also....http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=396240&highlight=SEvendust

agreed, but that's also where i'll say tool surpasses them. just imo.

yes, I'll agree. Thought I favor sevendust over tool, tool's melodies and use of dissonant harmony has a much sharper edge. But tool's songs are too....orchestrated for me. Too much structure ruins music for me.

I bought "Next", "Seasons", and "Animosity" and love all these albums, but why is Seasons cencored in the lyrics?

All the curse words are, literally, scratched out (like a DJ scratch) and its fucking annoying, I have the best off and the song "Face To Face" isn't cencored but it is on the original album? WTF?

Maybe you accidently bought the censored one?
I did that about a month back. Bought a few cd's from fyi and Lil Jon was censored but the rest weren't.

Yeah I'm going to bitch at them, no where on the CD or the plastic case it comes in does it say it's cencored.

I can compare Disturbed to Sevendust. I've been a disturbed fan since 1999/2000, before they got popular Disturbed played at a local club in Champaign(they're from Chicago) and my sister and her b/f(now husband) went and saw them when they were there. He downloaded their cd and ever since i heard them i've been in love with their music. Now Sevendust, great band, but i've never gotten into them. It's all preference really, i'll have to try listening to some more sevendust songs, i haven't heard them in a while.

That kicks ass!!

My uncle carried Michael Hutchins (INXS frontman) off stage in Heathcote (next suburb from me) when he was drunk the day before they went to the U.S for the first time <--- where they hit it big.

Damnien, you've meet these 7dust folk?

yeah, my friend worked security at one of the concerts and let me in. i've met a lot of bands and the number is increasing, unfortunently in the the hip-hop scene which i'm not that big into, but enjoy the music none the less. the more i meet them, the more i get involved. i have a friend who makes beats and stuff, met Pharell and from there, i meet people. setting up contacts for later. Look at Babara Walters, she knows everybody! Oh, I wanna be a photojpurnalist so, yeah. Gotta mingle.

My favorite sevendust song has to be Waffle. I would recomend downloading that one. I also saw people talking about Tool. Love Tool. Here in Minnesota, the word is the album got pushed back to the fall of 06 now. Can't rush perfection I guess.

That would be awesome. I hate waiting 5 years between each album. Its weird when you look at Tool who spend so much time on each album and a band like Korn can pump them out every 2 weeks.

well, korn is great and all, but their music isn't exactly intricately woven. Korn has killer energy, their songs will get a cown going, and that's always good. for example, KISS. terrible musicians, really. but, their shows were the liveliest, and just because they can flow so much energy, they're considered one of the greatest rock bands ever.
Tool's album's have been getting more and more artistic, poetic, and very much so less energetic. plust their side projects such as a perfect circle, pygmy love circus, volto, they've got their hands full. plus, their not out to keep the registers clingin. korn's mainstream and needs that cash flow.

Don't really care how it all pans out. All that really matters is that Tool is at the top of my list.
