MAF sensor

will this cause a no start ?
when i try to start it wants to start if i give it gas it will start then die

i got code 48
and i also got a 34 code

I wouldnt say that the mass air flow sensor is what the problem is, i think that u r not getting enough air to the cylinders and the mixture is too rich, so u r flooding the engine. Check the air cleaner and see if it is dirty. If not, check the hose and see if the engine is getting enough air.
