I have 2 questions for any Mustang pro that is willing to help!...I have a 2003 Mustang GT I bought for my wife 2 1/2 yrs ago...It only has 13,500 miles on it right now...I have two troubles I would appreciate help with before I take it into the dealer to look at it...
1) I am experiencing some trouble in the transmission/converter area...Sometimes when i put it into drive from park i hear a delayed thump and feel it in the shifter lever...I also am experiencing something like the converter going in and out of OD real hard...Also having hard-delayed shifts when easing on the throttle...
2) I am hearing a loud tinking sound in the left rear wheel...This only happens when i start out from a stop or come to a stop...It's sounds like someone taking a wrench and tapping on the wheel one time...
Please help...any answers will be appreciated...thanx
Bob

1. get the tranny fluid flushed and swapped. see if that makes a difference on the shifting. note: it's a $80-90 possible fix though (I took mine to one fo the pennzoil quicky lube kinda places).
2. loosen/retighten the wheel lugs. might've walked off on ya. discount tire didn't tighten mine down proper and every time i took a turn, i would get a metal click and feel it, too.
