ok here goes...
i have a 95 gs-t fwd automatic, and i have the chance to get a 98 awd transfer case, driveshaft, rear suspension and everything that goes with it basicly the whole back end of the car, its sitting at a junkyard because my friend that works there is holding it for me "the car is not repairable..." was rolled in an accident" but everything under the car is in excellent shape now im not to sure what motor was in it, eithere the 4g63 or the 420a, but will the transfer case bolt to my transmission since its automatic? im not sure if the car at the junkyard is a manual or what because its been picked clean on the inside i mean nothing is in itnot even the pedles! they cut that part out as well, and since the trans is gone already, i cant really tell, and there are no other marking on the car its been painted, and the doors are gone hood and the engine bay is clean as well, except for a wiring harness which is almost gone as well... i was just wondering would it bolt up and run like that? i have all the tools to cut and reweld the suppots under the car and since its my project car im in no rush, i like to take my time... its my third child...:) please give answers and dont ridicule me on that fact i should sell my car and buy an awd model:nono: i dont want to do that, i want to put in the extra effort!
thanks for your time...

You would have to get an awd tranny for it to work. BTW the 4g63 is the only engine to be in the awd dsm's. Theres a good write up of the conversion here http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1474
