Moderators for diecast forum

Should someone represent our little forum here, and send a message to the admins telling them that our little diecast hubblabod should get some mdoerators, like mods that post on here and are really actve here.

Who whould you guys pick, like pick 3.

You jsut go around, give warnings, help people, close threads.

The current mods seem to be a bit inactive. Just thinking maybe we could let some new people try out.

^sounds nice. i wouldn't mind because i am always on this forum anyway. unless if i'm on vacation. except when i was in france i went to a internet cafe and i went to af. i thought it was pretty cool because i was all the way in france and on af.

This forum hardly gets enough traffic to warrant one mod, let alone three or four. Now, you guys are right, a moderators job is to basically keep the peace in a specific forum. The Die-Cast forum has never been, in my experience, grounds for many heated arguments and flame wars. In fact, I dont know if I have ever seen a major problem in this section.

AF already has well over a 100 moderators. And if you guys were to notice a problem in this section, there is a button that says "report post". When you click that, it dispatches an email to all the mods with a link to the thread, and post in question.

But, for the sake of fairness, I will post this up for discussion in the Mod's Corner, and let you know the final decision.

Tim, thanks for posting. I havent been able to really browse the forums since the format change until everything is clear.

I am the moderator for this forum and I do not see any reason to have yet another moderator for this forum. I lurk through hear on my usual AF browsing, and I rarely see any problems at all. I see no need for having yet another mod. There isnt enough traffic for it, as Tim mentioned. Plus, I am not the only moderator that can moderate or browse the forum.

Yea, but its nice to have a mod that posts and actually talks =O
