Well, I just got done replacing the radiator yesterday, put new plugs in today ngk bpr7es and it sounds like its not firing. I hear almost like a pump noise as its turning over, its kind of muffled and it does it pretty quick. Any idea what the problem is?

Hmmm.... Sounds like something got disconnected and didn't get pluggded back in. I'd double check everything see if you missed something.

Surprisingly the car (or at least mine) will start and run without the mas plugged in. It wi;; run really shitty and die after you press the gas at all.

Well everything is plugged in besides an air filter, fog lights and head lights. Do you guys think its my coil pack? It makes sense that it would be since I was having boost problems before my car wouldnt start. If I test it with an ohm meter, what should the resistance be, 0?

I think the resisitance is supposed to be around .8 ohm from the connector in back. I'll check the shop manual later tonight.

i know this is late but...
you could of checked your crank sensor or cam angle sensor... or possibly a blown fuse to the ecu... these three things are basically the only things that can stop a car from firing any one of these can be responsible... i know i had the same problem:angryfire my cam sensor went and my car would do nothing but turn over.. i went ahead and replaced both sensors. and she roared back to life...:grinyes: just thought i would add my two sense...

Oh yea, I forgot my mechanic said a while back that I should check the cam sensor! Thats probably the cause lol, Ill give my new mechanic a call and tell him whats up. Thanks a bunch

not a problem always glad to help out... no offense but i wont let no one touch my car even if i know them. i like to do my own work.. do yourself a favor buy a little car scanner for engine codes, get a Chilton or Haynes manual for your car,get a nice set of tools a concrete slab and an engine hoist and do your own car repairs, that way you know its right! everything thats been done to my car besides actually spraying my new paint job on has been done by me... and you get a feeling of accomplishment and more knowledge on how to fix your own problems :) and in the long run you will save so much money doing it yourself! :iceslolan but thats just the way i like to do things,
good luck on getting it going again. if i can be any more help just pm me :smokin:

Well, I do all the work on my car, except this one time, due to it being about 30 degrees outside, and me needing the car in a hurry for school. But he does great work, my friend goes to him with his honda motor-400whp- and had him put in new valves and retainers. So thats the only reason why I trust him with such a small problem.

There's a 20A fuse in the under-hood fuse box marked "Engine/Moteur". It will prevent fuel and spark if it's blown or unplugged.
