How do you best replicate the ball polished wheels, like you see on the Ferrari 612's or the Maseratis?

I think you mean, you want a natual polished metal look? Try the model masters Metalizers paints. You can buff them, and they turn out looking like metal. Then clear them. The pait rubs off (been there). What do you mean by ball polish tho?
Good luck:)

That's the term Maserati uses. I think its just the process they use to polish the wheels. Polished Ferrari and Maserati wheels aren't as bright as normal polished wheels. They have a darker grey color to them.
