pcv

my car won't start and i'm pretty sure it's not anything electronic. what i do know is my pcv will not come out and it's squirting gas left and right. i can't figure out how to get the dang thing out.

It would help if you gave us more information about the size engine you have and the year. Also are you sure it is the PCV valve since there shouldn't be any gas coming out of the PCV unless you have some really serious issues. If the gas is not coming out of the PCV then where exactly is it coming from?

it's a 1991 oldsmobile 98 regency elite 3.8L engine. we checked the pcv and it's fine. it's working properly. there's also this backfire from under the engine we think it might be the exhaust manifold but we're not sure yet we still have to check on that.
