94 Taurus Wagon w/ wet rear floor

I have a '94 Taurus wagon that just in the last 7 - 10 days has had puddles of water on the floor behind both the driver and passenger seats. I vacuum it out and the next morning, there's more water.
The front windows are done up tight, and the back windows don't even go down - they haven't since we got the car a year ago, so it can't be leaking in that way. The water still seems to get in overnight, so it can't be getting pulled in while driving.
Has anyone heard of such a situation with these cars? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Well, I'd start by looking under the car, make sure there's no rubber plugs missing from the floor pans..maybe your carpet padding is soaked, water keeps wicking down to where you see it, I think the seat bolts go though also??? check them,, the water could be coming in and traveling to where you're seeing it,, could be leaking down the firewall under the padding, check under your dash, pull back the carpet see if it's wet anywhere. I bought a new 87 Taurus wagon, drove it from NY to Fla, back of car under third seat was full of water, factory apparently forgot to caulk a main seam, dealer found it, obviously that's not your problem though since it's recent... as far as rear windows not working, anyone who's owned a Taurus, at least through 95 model, has probably lost a rear window motor or two, not sure what it is, probably moisture collecting in the motors somehow, corroding them,, solution is to replace them,, I replaced the rivets with bolts and nuts, just need to find the correct length, pretty easy job,, if you whack the motor with a wrench or something, it may start to work again, wouldn't trust it though to continue, most likely fail with the window down, my personal experience... right now, we have four Taurus's, all have suffered this except the 99..

Where our ac evaporator is in the vent assb., we had water leaking from that which was draining the water, which was supposed to lead outside, onto the center hump which was letting the water go to both sides of the floor board. The water traveled to the back as well. The vent assb. somehow cracked. A possibility!
