My second Tamiya build, hopefully this goes as well as the Ferrari F1 car. Paint is Duplicolour GM Medium Marblehead.

Let me know how to paint the grille when you get to it John. It comes chrome but the inside needs to be black (the mesh and headlight surrounds) I got mine all painted, just need to paint the grille. Liking your build so far.

Same way I do every grille. Just blackwash my friend. Flat black to maybe 3 parts thinner, brush the whole grille, then go over it with kleenex until all the raised parts are clear. Sometimes it takes 2-3 passes as the kleenex will grab the deep stuff sometimes. I then brush the areas around the headlights.
Clearcoat has gone on the duplicolor paint, it was too dull without it. Haven't polished the clear yet though. Some more updates, including a pic of the grille for mike:
