Integra LS/Vtec build up

I heard you can make an LS vtec by swaping in a Vtec head .. and thats its actually better because you get teh stronger LS block with a vtec head you will own all . anyone have any info on how to go about doing this ?

There is A LOT of information on this. Run a search on this site and look around on Google. As far a "owning all" it's not that simple. A well tuned LS/Vtec motor can be quite powerful, but a poorly tuned one will be almost worthless. Like I said, search around, there is info everywhere on this.

LS VTEC can be strong but it can be unreliable. It's really your choice on whether or not you want your motor to blow up down the road. Im not saying it will but there could be a chance.

You can blow your engine going F/I as well, especially with NAAAAAAWWWWWSSSSSS or running too much boost. Shit, you can blow your engine driving it bone stock (not as easily, but possible)! The point is, you need to educate yourself in whichever road you chose to travel with your car. If you know what you’re doing, you are far less likely to ruin your car.

The ls/ to vtech conversion is great. But in the process we re did the whole motor. a full over port and polish and new internals. i love it. And i agree that you can just blow up any old stock motor too. its all in what you know.:bloated:

hey how much is it to swtich from a stock LS to a VTEC engine??? and where can you go to do this??

Mang!! i smoked a stock/auto '02 stang!!! i pulled on him in first!!! Saw the stang in my rear view in second!!! And humilated him in third gear!!!! HAHAHA!!! You can definitely kill the guy!!!

got a b16 head with intake mani for 250 bucks..(yea it was cheap:p ) but im in the process right now of my ls/vtec ...all the way in germany...... and its gonna have a 65 shot of nos on it.
