Well no one answered on my first post.
However, I have replaced the bulbs, break switch (under the pedal), and tested it with a tester. I took off the light covers and tested the plugs. I am getting juice from the parking lights, but I am not from the brake connector. I need to figure out where the problem is along the path. I need a schematic, or something of that source to help me find the problem. This is driving me crazy and I hate to have to drive with out break lights.
I called one of the local Chevy places and the guy in Service said "Check the break light fuses." I said, "There are no break light fuses." Then another guy got on and told him there are none. Even those guys don't know what they are doing, yet they want to charger me $45.00 per half hour to "look" at it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I found it!!! I took every single fuse out and tested them. The one marked "stop switch" was not good. But it looked good. Go figure
