What is a good header to get on a non-vtec 4-door teg? Fixin to get the cat-back exhaust and want to go ahead a put a header on there.

You will want a 4-2-1. DC Sports is a good brand.

DC Sports is a good brand and like the previous reply you might want to go with a 4-2-1 which will allow you to keep your torque and hp at the bottom end OR you can go with the 4-1 and you will loose a bit of torque at the bottom end but you will gain the hp at the top end. It all depends on what type of driving/racing you do. Good luck. stefan525

Dude, you have to go with the ceramic coated. They will hold in heat better and your engine bay will be cooler, and they will not crack and will not discolor. But again it is up to you, and only to you, on what you want performance or looks. I can only put in my 2 cents. Good luck. stefan525

i thought it was stainless steel that held up better in heat and would never crack

4-1 makes power over 4000rpm, kind of useless on a non-vtec. He wants a 4-2-1.

Stainless steel is more durable and will last forever. It does run a bit hotter though and will discolor. I tend to like the new color though

Like I said, if you want power at the low end go with 4-2-1. Also remember if you are getting a cat back you will loose some of your torque at the bottom end. Don't go too big of a piping and be careful what kind you get. Spend the money and get a good brand, if you intend to keep your car for a long time. Greddy, DC Sport etc. are good name brand and make good cat backs. Good luck. stefan525

4-2-1 DC is good.
Stefan is right, ceramic is more durable not stainless steel. Ceramic is way better becasue it doesn't conduct heat and as already said doesn't change color (the color is not important but the heat conduct is, you don't want heat in the engine compartment).
