VIC speaker and turn signal location?????

does anybody know where the sound comes from on the VIC and also from the turn signals??? its so loud sometimes it seems like its coming from the speakers through my radio.....esp if i have it low

can u disconnect the wire or sound or is hooked up to the speakers?

I seriously doubt it. On my '01 it comes from underneath the dash, from a blinker relay I would presume.

thanks ...yea i just read about the chime module....but i'm not gonna mess with it cause i here it shuts off ur keyless entry....and for some reason my vehicle information center screen just completely went out and isnt on....will that effect my 4wd? or cause an issue?

You can neuter it safely. And removing it entirely will mess with your power door locks. It's pretty easy.

This is the one in my 93 ZJ. You'll find the box under the dash to the left of the steering wheel column. It will unplug from it's socket and you can take it out of the vehicle. Open it up by releasing the two clips. Remove the round plate and the notched bar and return it. No more beeps from the VIC.
