I have been having this problem on and off need to address it. It takes about 10 good mins for the car to idle around normal. But as soon as I put it in drive it shakes badly you can hear the engine choking I think its running lean or rich u can smell the fumes out and in the car coming through the vents. but if you give the car gas it seems to go away but when u come to a red light or a stop it comes back worst.I'm guesing the open element clogged the cat or sumin. It doesnt give me any problems until it warms up. Its not giving any codes and only shakes in park.

Do the RPMs stay constant or do they jump around?

Nice TA there, the grill is a trendz grill for a camaro. As for the exhaust I believe it is just right not to loud. It sound good when the gas is applied but it will sound nasty with the cat off.

I love nasty...my 305 with no cat and a flowmaster 40 series sounded great. It was slow as crap but at a stop it was very intimidating. Thats one thing I dont miss about my 89....being passed by minivans....

you might want to pull out your iac to look at it and clean the carbon out of it or just replace it.

My 94 3.4 V6 camaro 5 speed does much the same thing. Is it the same problem, or is it a different problem? It doesn't happen only at an idle, and it is very random. Help! :banghead:
