Hello,
Just recently in my 96 Blazer 2DR 2WD the plastic that covers the instrument gauges has started fogging up from where the plastic panel covers the steering column.
I tried turning the defrosters on, but it only seems to get worse to the point where I can't see my gauges anymore.
This is very weird any ideas what's wrong??
Thanks, Rick
BTW: My Trucks engine is running great after all the money I put in it so, it has to find some way to piss me off!!!

Is it only creating fog on the cluster lens, or is it also on the inside of the windshield and side windows? If that's the case, it may be your heater core starting to leak, (if it's showing up on the glass too). It might also have a "sweet" smell to it.

No, the inside windows are fine it's just the inside of the gauge panel that fogs up and with no smell.

Your weatherstriping around the front windshield may have a leak. Water may have gotten into the gage cluster, the heat from the electronics mixed with the moisture in the cluster can be causing the fog.
