82 cutlass supreme lights question

my regular lights dont work, only the brights. the lights in the dash board dont work. coudl this just be the bulb , or is the wiring messed up?

SRcH4aReSN, I know this is a dumb question, but did you check the fuses?

If the fuse is fine, I can't see how a blown bulb in your dash would cause your headlights not to work.

Check the connections at the headlights... coroded connections or bad wire.

I had a truck that the one headlight would go out and I would have to move the wire that was conected to it to get it to work... it had a short in it.

I'd start with the fuse 1st and then check the connection at the headlight.

lol actually, i didnt. i just got the car yesturday. i literally brought it home, then had to go to college, i didnt get to check anything. but ill check it, see if it works, and if not, ill post it
