I just recently got back into working on model cars after about a 3yr absense (college). Here are some of the projects I'm working on.
Revell ITR:
This was the last project I worked on before I stopped. It is nearly complete. I have to shoot another coat of white and retry the trim work again. I had some bleed through on the first attempt. Box stock.

Fujimi Spoon ITR:
This was the first model I did some modifications to. I've lowered it some (after finding a write-up here). I'm going to have to strip the paint and retry. Something was wrong with the primer and caused the base coat to bubble up. I'm planning on adding cf decal to the hood and hatch as well as a custom harness guide bar. Thinking about attempting an Apex'I VAFC and other details too.

Tamiya NA Miata:
This one is kind of a pet project. A buddy of mine is kind enough to let me drive his Miata at the National Tour events and The Nationals of SCCA autox, so as a "thank you" I'm building a replica of his car. Right now all I have done is cleaned up the mold flash and start on a R-package lip. Its my first attempt at custom body work, so we'll see how it comes out.

The Miata is going to be white. Here is the car I'm trying to replicate:

I'm scratching my head on how to do the turn signal inlets. Probably going to scrach build them.
As for the stand, they are 20v 4age ITB's for my AE86. I'm trying to piece together a nice little 16v for my car.

Cool projects! I especially like the Miata, the lip looks fantastic. For the inlets, you might try making a "plug" from styrene, then drilling out a rough shape of the inlet. From there you should be able to carve the openings out with an x-acto and some careful sanding.
Good luck!
Good luck!

the miata looks very stylish in white, cant wait to see some more progress on the replica. and i thought the ITBs looked tad familiar, very nice indeed, nothing like quad throttles on a 16v 4age

Well, I haven't started on the turn signal ducts yet, but I did start work on the roll bar. Its a replica of this:

Now the model:

The bars are a little large, and the down tubes are a little far back, but they fit perfect under the hardtop. I'll do some finish work on them tomorrow to get the tubes to fit better.

Looks good. But the roll bar is too thick, it’s like a “4 or 10cm pipe in real. The rod you should be using to get a bit more in scale look is 2mm.
Cheers
