Air Filter Cover

I just replaced my air filter on my 94 Honda Accord and Im trying to get the cover back in place but there is a vent blocking the way of getting it back in. Tyring to force it underneath this vent but its not budging. I took a couple of pics if needed but im not sure how to post. Any tips??

Is it the very first part of the intake system, between the headlight and the air filter box? If so, just pull it out. It comes right out.
