Take it back and tell them , they didn't adjust the linkage right. That's what it sounds like to me. They had to remove your tranny to put the rear main oil seal in.

Yes, sounds like transmission linkage needs adjusted.

errr, is this like a big, time consuming thing..? like how hard is it for them to do.?

Should take no longer than 30 minutes.
Wait, it took them 3 weeks to replace a real seal? What the hell took them that long? Did they have to go get the oil and make the seal themselves?
Get into that dealer and start rasing hell.
That job should take no longer than a day.

Still I think you got a bunch of idiots at that dealership.
It doesn't take that long for any repair.
Hell, a complete engine drop in takes a day or two max. Seriously, you need to start sticking up for your consumer rights, they are giving it to you without lube and you are sitting there and happily taking it.
That is why they are not really inclined to help you, they know you already let them get this far, what is a little bit more.
Start speaking up or you are just as guilty as they are.

Well I've never seen a battery on a used vehicle being replaced on warranty, but on the other hand the former battery probably had the full warranty left.
3 weeks is always un accptable service though. I would be in trouble if that happened to me.
Adjusting the linkage takes less time than changing 1 tire over, so if they shove a tire job ahead of your remind them of that.

well, i finally got the truck back to the dealer to have them look at it.. they tried telling me that it must have been hit out of adjustment, cuz the guy drove it around the lot before they gave it back..this was total bull, because the truck has the same mileage on it , that it did when i took it in..
and i realized today, when i went to take it back, they busted the plastic that goes along the bottom of the seat where the power buttons are.. soo i bitched, and their replacing that also.. for free..
and they replaced the battery under warranty, because when i went to pick the truck up, it was dead.. and after that it wouldnt start properly.. you would have to turn it over, than let off the starter, and turn it over again, than it started, and they traced it back to the battery..

well, today i called the dealer.. and come to find out, the trucks been done for 3 days now, and no one has called.. anyways, the dealer proceeds to tell me that it wasnt to linkage, that it was a neutral safety switch that was busted when putting the tranny back on.. he says everythings fine with it, but we'll see when we go pick her up.

I can see that happening, and they were being honest about it.
Personally I believe that they have to make a serious effort getting the vehicles fixxed, out the door and the owners notified that they're car is fixxed.
But they are doing more than most dealers would warranty wise.
