OK I found these instructions here on the board, but my question is where is the ALDL located on the car?
OK you gotta be a little knowledgable for this:
Find your ALDL (computer diagnostic port) short pin #1 to #4
or just ground pin #1
Insert key into ignition - OFF
Within 10 seconds, press hazard switch 6 times
Door should cycle 1 time (lock/unlock)
Press transmitter LOCK 1 time then within 10 seconds hit LOCK 2 times
for additional transmitters repeat above transmitter sequence.
Door locks will cycle on each registration of transmitter
your done...!

I have read these post trying to get my 99 galant remote programmed to no avail..I called a mitsubishi dealer and spoke with a tech...this is very important.....
put key in ignition and leave in the off position.....
jumper pin 1 and 4 together....one is the left top (WIDER) side of ECM terminal...
Within 10 seconds of jumpering pin 1 and 4 hit the hazzard button 6 times....
then it will lock and then unlock...
hit you remote button "LOCK"
within 10 seconds hit the "UNLOCK" button.....
pull the jumper...
good to go.....
just remember you have 10 seconds after jumpering the 1 and 4 pin to hit the hazzard button 6 times if not ....you will sit there all day scratching you head.....WTF.....Well that is what I did......hope this helps...

let me get this straight...the jumpers are the fuses, because this is where my confustion sets in, if I was to jumper fuse 1 and 4 then those are the horn and dash board lights?
