Script for Fast and Furious 3

A friend of mine graduated a few years ago from film school and is on his way to becoming a director, the dude is always sending me stuff about movies before they ever come out and all. Today he sends me an e-mail about fast and furious 3.
the email is titled "more rice is nice"

turns out Vin Diesel deffenetly wont be in it....not that it matters.
the movie will be about a young college student who is a bit of an anti-socialist and dosent get along with anyone.....which does not explain why he has over 8 casted friends in this movie. anyway the guy only lets his emotions show through street racing. This gets him in a bit of trouble with the authorities so in order to avoid jail time he is forced to move to Tokyo to live with his millitary uncle in some slum in a poor district of the city.

Funny, ive been to Tokyo and I dont remember many slums....

anyway, while in his new home, he discovers that kids in Tokyo like to street race as well. NO FUCKING KIDDING! REALLY?

he gets into it cause.....well, cause other wise itd be a short movie.
Here is the plot twist: in Tokyo the Street racers are at a whole nother level, they dont just run up and down the street, NO, they run up and down the street SIDEWAYS!
yup, our hero has to learn to street drift so he can hang with the tokyo pop reject crew and earn madd saki point in the hard core gangsta rappa crew streets of Nippon.

so this dude starts learing how to drift and in no time he is a master of the sport then on his first race he goes up against the best drifter in Tokyo and guy everyone calls D.K. "Drift King".
our hero smokes D.K. and becomes the best drifter in Japan in one night, BUT, D.K. has ties with the japanese mafia, the Jakuza and the mafia comes after our hero to get revenge for...uh...for winning a street race?

so anyway now the only way to get out of trouble is to DORIFTO untill all the mafia people are dead.

so to sum up "Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift"

-Anti social kid has more friends them me and my wife put together.
-moving to Japan gets you out of jail.
-People in Japan like to street race.
-Drifting is soooo COOOLLLLL.
-you can learn to be the best drifter in Japan in one week.
-the Drift king gets spanked by yuppie yankee trash.
-Mafia will kill you if you win street drift.
-if you keep drifting you kill all mafia.
-Vin Diesel is very gald he chose not to be in this movie.

Friendly anouncement to the people at Universal Pictures:
Try to make movies while the topic is still hot. The drifting craze ended about two years ago. if you had made a movie about drifting like 3 years back that would of been cool but nowadays we dont care anymore. Its a fad, its over!

i cant wait, after the first 2 movies all the kids leaving the parking lots were drag racing in mom mini van and explorer, now they will be flipping in moms minivan or explorer. Id advise everyone here not to drive around a movie theatre for the first month after this movie is released.

um...i think most the the "ricers" currently have no idea about drifting...but the thing is, we all are gonna see it, just to laugh about it on here....

a movie what ricey and drifting, doesn't sound too good for the states at this point in time...too many wrecked cars from idiots WOT'ing it and turning now. maybe the movie will help out with Ford and Gm's falling value and will help the american car makers get some money to stay alive at least....

no self respecting mustang owner would EVER put a japanese, or for that matter anything but a ford engine in a mustang. damnit now im pissed off. you can say what you want about ford but you just dont do that.

The first F&F was cool, even if the plot was most likely made in a bathroom while someone was on the shitter. The second one was UBER stupid. I cannot get over how bad of acting is in it. This newest one sounds beyond stupid. Isn't this somewhat reminiscent of that movie that Jackie Chan made?

its actually nihon, musashi san wa taihen baka desu ne! onegeishimasu! and....depending on where you're from in the states, drifting is still kinda new, actually its pretty new to the states overall and over here in the midwest, its still pretty popular, its just not a lot of people know about it right now, but its growing, and some people call themselves drifters instead racers

But see the only thing I liked about the first two was how Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Tyrese overacted and cliched every single crummy line of each movie

I didn't think the first movie was too awful. Although I must say Paul Walker IS the absolute worst actor in history. FNF3 just sounds like another lame over-glamourized car movie.

I can't wait to see the accidents whenever that movie crowd gets out.

Here's an idea for you guys.....roll with me on this one. On the premier of F&F 3, everyone take a video camera to the streets. I would really like to see alot of footage of POS ricers thinking they are God's gift to street racing. Everyone that tapes these ricers getting "sideways", drag racing, or generally looking stupid will each get a gold star and a pat on the back from the street racing section members. Someone can take all of the footage and make it into a 3f3f "true life" video, and once this is viewed by the makers of these terrible movies.....maybe, just maybe it will die once and for all.

yes I think drifting is dead! there are still a few fans out there but its not the same frenzy it used to be. just another form of motorsport but not the biggest.

Don't be a dick man... people have been swapping motors from one cool car into other cool cars since day 1.

People put Small block chevy's into Ford's all the time, that's one of the biggest things to do! There's more '32 Ford Coupes out there with SBC's than you can shake a stick at... mostly cause people like Boyd Coddington just buy the crate motors by the truck full and slap them into whatever.

V8 swaps are common into random cars, such as the Fiero, 240z, Rx7. So why not a impressive Japanese motor like the Rb26 into a American car? People have been putting American V8s into 240z's for years.

Why not the RB26 into a Ford? Like merritr said, it goes both ways.

putting a SBC into a 32 ford or something like that is different, they are cheap and fit easyily. and the old ford v8s from the time arent to practicle. if its a mustang, it should have a ford engine, you cant tell me you cant make a mustang fast with the stock engine. not only that, but it would be cheaper with the ford engine rather than buyin a whole new one. its a retarded idea, and any self respecting mustang owner would NEVER do it. would you put a RB26 into a corvette? i wouldnt, i think itd be disgraceful. same deal with the mustang. not saying the RB26 engine isnt good, you just dont do it. it just goes to show how retarded those movies are.

No, but only becuase the cost of doing so would be prohibitive. That, and I would rather drop the BMW 3.0 from an E46 330i/ci ZHP in. keep it marginally simple and sleeperish. However, if I had an E36 M3, and didn't have the money for a turbo install and wanted to be different from everyone else, then I would drop in a 2JZ-GTE. If I had a Mustang, would I swap in an RB26? No. It would be a perfectly good waste of a bad ass motor. But hey, thats just me, and I think the Mustang is better for it. To each and all, eh?

i understand the point of puttin in the rb26 into a stang, but on the street i dont think there is a reason to it. would the project be anywhere's cost efficent? no. but since univiersal can make like 50 million of F&F series each movie, well, i think its cost efficent enough. isnt the rb26 lighter than the v8 for the gt. i dont know too much about muscle car's engines, but that they love to drink gas like hicks like to drink beer.... i dont think that the stang's transmission also meets with the rb26, so its really not a stang anymore is it?

Also, if I decided to get into drifting after this movie everyone's gonna call me out for it. Kinda like street racing with the first two. I feel sorry for all the actual drifters/aspiring drifters out there..You're going to be called scene kids for a year or two tops.

I can't wait, this is the most highly anticipated movie since Gigli! This movie is going to spawn a whole new generation of ricers and they will all think that if its from Japan, it must be cool. I hope this dosn't bring drifting back, that was the dumbest fad ever. It reminds me of figure skating how they are judged on style and other subjective things. This movie is going to be total crap and I will definately be there to watch it. I am with everyone who said they can't wait to see some kid crash his parents car doing something he learned in the movie.

I doubt it's a fart can, its probably part of a three inch plus turbo back...but then again, why would he need that, because only fast Rustangs need an exahsut bigger than 2.5 inches...

The exhaust can is a Magnaflow, but its not even hooked up. The exhaust is 3 inch from the 60-1 turbo back and dumps onto the ground just in front of the rear axle.

The exhaust can is on the car because it fits with the theme. If you were going to put the RB26 in, you would put an "import" style exhaust on the car.

The RB powered car has no muffler at all. Its 3 inch out of the turbo and dumps on the ground.

The muffler tip, pointed out crooked.... that was something that just fit. A twin small exhaust, or a normal american muffler or tip, just didnt seem to fit with the rest of the theme.
