What engine do you have?

If it's the 2.0 or 2.4 - call DC Customer Service at 1-800-992-1997. Explain the situation - the dealer has diagnosed a head gasket leak. Many times, depending on owner and mileage, DC will cover most of the costs involved.

The 2.0 and 2.4 engines have a known issue with the head gasket. A new MLS gasket is used and solves the problem.

Hey, I had the same problem a while back.. To tell you the truth... I would prefer to take it to a dealer.. I did.. I didnt want to take any chances.. What I was reluctant to find out was that Chrysler would pay for most of it.. Which they are tellin you the same.. The actual price i was supposed to pay was round 600.. I got lucky to pay hundred sum... Oh, and on the new MLS head gasket.. It works great.. I like to do a lil racin everyonce in a while.. Oh, you might want to check on the price for the gasket thuogh.. I think what I paid for was the gasket.. The dealer labor charges were covered by Chrysler..

200 for that repair sounds like it's already discounted.
