Srt vs. new F-150?

Okay me and my friend were just cruising around when this doosh in one of the new 2006 F-150 triton(2 door) pulls up, opens his exhaust cut out and keeps doing flybys back and forth. I really didn't want to run anyone but decided on it anyways. When the race started he had about half of his car infront of mine and since it was so cold outside I only had 11-12psi. From the 40mph roll, he immediatly had a few feet on me but soon enough by about 60 I was around 3 cars infront of him. I noticed he had some sort of computer screen on his dash he was dialing in before we raced, no not satelite radio. Afterwards he proceeded to do more flybys so we ran one more time with the exact same results. I was just wodering how in the fuck he kept up so much??? :confused: I expected to see buses inbetween us. We tried to follow him so we could talk about everything he has done but he was driving too crazy(swerving through traffic) to be able to keep up and now everytime I see him he revs at me and does flybys :disappoin Was it so close because my boost is so low?

He was probably modded, had some form of boost. And a lot of it, cuz I raced a F-150 extended cab that had an exhaust and we think SC, and beat him by about a nose. I think with the mods you have, he had to have more than just an exhaust cut out.

well they can come with a 5.4l engine... so its not real hard for them to get a lot of power. my guess about that screen would be that it was a navigation system.

damn that thing would have to be pretty heavily modded. They have 300 hp and 365 lb-feet stock. weighing in at 5500 lbs

f 150, possibly a lightning? factory boosted, factory exhaust (more flow through) and the computer could have been anything from just a lap top/dvd, to a vehical moniter/control unit, those ford trucks can* pack a punch if done right

you are correct, sorry for the ignorence, but you can still boost your f 150, if he was dumb enough to void his warrenty and do that

he could've also had a venom computerized nitrous system so that might've been what he was playing with.

He could've also been playing with an EEC tuner.

they don't make 150's with diesels and he could probably hear it if it was

I think the computer screen on the dash was satellite radio. He probably flipped the station over to Freebird or Sweet Home Alabama, which as we all know is cryptonite to srt4s!!!!! :lol:
