Right Fog light that almost never works.

The Right Fog Light on my 98 Sport never works, unless I kick it on the bumper in the right place. If I kick the bumper, it starts working again, for a few days. Does anyone have experience with fixing this, to save myself Agravation?

I have seen many other Neons with the right fog lamp out (more rights than the left, not likely just the bulb burned out). I figure this has been addressed by someone here. What part is likely the cause, and How do I get to it?

Could be a loose connection back there. Get down there and check it out. The passenger side is easier to get to than the driver's side.

I have seen a lot of neons with only the left fog light working, so I was hoping for an answer like "there is a known problem with the such and such connector, so you should look at that first", to save me time looking. It is really cold here and I would rather pore over my Dodge shop manual indoors, and be able to actually be able to fix the problem before my fingers freeze off :frown:

Maybe the passenger side burns out quicker due to being a bit more exposed than the driver's side.

I didn't realize it was that cold wherever you are. I live in Texas, so the cold isn't that big of a concern.
