I was wathing TV about 2-3 weeks ago and seen the Nissan Titan commercial, it had a buch of SUVs (American) driveing behind a Titan, the add was called "Pied Piper", well the music that was playing was the "Colonel Bogey March" and if you ever head the Brits really do this LIVE in Company size, well it makes your back a little stiffer, it's great to hear.
Anyhow, the move Bridge on the river Kwai, to those who don't know was a well unknown pont in history is that the Japs worked POWs to death on this project, many people died, and tward the end the JaPs would do fake air raids to get Brits and Americans into the shelters and burn them alive with gas to save ammo.
So the TV spot showed a JaP Truck leading American SUVs in some sort of lame stunt that now looks kinda bad.
I don't ever need to hear wrong music to see JaPs take American Jobs away, as well as our youths futures. The Nissan Plant as well as Honda Kawasaki used slave POWs that they killed and beat and starved to make what they have today.
Take a drive to your local VA and see how many American cars/trucks you see, it's over 96% hear in Richmond.
Injoy your import, it's company was built on the bodies of our Soldiers!

Where does it stop?
How about MB?They own Chrysler.
How about Porsche?
How about ANY Italian car?Remember Mussolini?
The Japs never took one single job away in this country
We gave them away by making CRAP.GM is a prime example.

Funny thing, the Nissan Titan is built exclusively in a U.S. plant with American union labor enjoying better wages and health care than most of us. And many of the components are from U.S-based suppliers.
As far as I can tell ALL Dodge, Ford and GM full-size trucks and SUV's are assembled in Canada or Mexico by Canadian and Mexican workers. Whatever tune you want to whistle, in some ways "foreign" companies walk the walk while Detroit talks the talk!
By the way I have NEVER owned an Asian-brand vehicle. My Suburban was assembled in Flint, Michigan in 1990.

Japan was the only county in WW2 to toss away the geneva convention and beat and kill our soldiers.
That being said your saying "Well America Cars Suck" so i'm going to go buy a car thats made by a country that tryed to wipe us off the face of the Earth?
We sold the Japs steel just before the War, sure we made money but that steel turned into Tanks and Bombs. So what if the line worker gets $12.70 an hour the Japan is making LOADS of money to build up it's county base.
Now I don't think that Japan will ever come at us again with tanks, but you would have to be blind to not see that they just about buy up everything made and built in America, making US the worker of Japan.
Some of you may not know this, but as a whole Japan don't like us, they are trying to get out military bases out of Japan and it's islands, as for germs-many they want us out now that the USSR is no more, THEY DON"T LIKE US, I think the only greatfull people are in South Korea!
When you don't buy American your chopping away at the American way of life as well as America.
You think a few American Bolt companys and some Plastic parts makers are putting back in to America then you need to work for a Temp job locator, they send you to these jobs making dirt!
Heres something to think about, in Erie PA a forge makes the USN's drive shafts for our ships, 6 years ago dew to Japan lowering the price on steel in the years before was on the ropes and going to close it's doors, Japan Bid on the Job (no suprise) and it took an act of congress to fund this forge because of the ture blood fact is we can't trust another country to help build our war part machines.
When the American spy plane was forced to land in China the county stopped production of the new beret and delivery to the US.
Make no mistake, plugging yourself into the TV or Net is like a blind fold, we are not safe, the ocean is not a fort wall, people are planning our ruin!
In the 80's and 90's it was well known that japan put it's workers to work harded and with a flat pay, they knew if they did this more money could be put back into the cars they made, and since Japan as a country was geared for their countrys to do this they made no upward move in the cost of liveing. We do, thats how we do things, cost of life go's up, we don't live 20 to a house, we don't go in and work for free, they DO.
One day your going to look around and see nothing but American SLAVES hammering away in Foreign companys, and at that point what keeps them from cutting us off?
No person could have ever expected WW I, it was so bad that it was "The War To End All Wars" and if you think for one second that all the world is buddie buddie nice and that they care about the US or us your dead wrong.
The reason that our plants parted out stuff to the outside was because the building pressure of the outside comming in.
Like I said, take a look at a VA parking lot, the number of US cars are far more, infact I have to goto the VA this week and I will snap a picture!
I would rather deal with a broken heater vent, then SELL OUT MY COUNTRY!
I'm not some old fuddy rantting, i'm 31, and a Disabled Retired Vet. If you think i'm lieing you only have to look at my poasting hours on here.

We gave them away by making CRAP.GM is a prime example.
Have you driven a new Cadillac STS, STS-V, XLR or an XLR-V?
Have you driven a new Chevrolet Corvette or a new Corvette Z06, Cobalt, 2007 Tahoe or Suburban?
Have you driven a new Pontiac Solstice or the 2007 Soltice GXP, or the G6 Coupe?
Have you driven the 2007 Saturn Sky or Aura (coming this summer)?
GM has revised rwd plans and will put new rwd cars into production by 2009.
As for Japanese cars, I don't think they have or have ever had much style or any soul except for the mid 90s Toyota Supra, the Honda NSX, and the original 240Z.

Lets see.....
the Corvette.Doesn't count as it is essentially a hand built limited-production car.
Pontiac-the Solstice is the lone bright spot. The rest are junk.
Buick-shoulda been the one dumped not Oldsmobile.Buicks cars are so great, all they can advertise is "heated winsdshield washer fluid"(Good lord)
GM trucks?Wouldn't own one.
Saturn Aura-how can i have driven something that isn't released yet?And it won't matter.Saturn WAS a good company untill GM started interferring.
RWD plans by 2009-it'll be too late by then.
I used to put GM stocks in the bottom of my Macaws cage. But she asked me to take them out as they were not even worth sh*itting on.
Here's a partial list of GM disasters:
the new GTO
the HHR
the G6
Dropping the Bonneville nameplate
Dropping the F-body(in addition to being a stone stupid move,it gave Ford publicity they couldn't buy.)
dressing up Suburbans(H2) and C-1500s(H3) and calling them HUMMERS.
That Chevy Hotrod/PU thing(i forget what it's called)
GM is getting it's a$$ kicked by the new Mustang and will get it kicked even worse when Dodge makes the new Challenger.
BY the way..GM can't sell the cars they make and right now Chrysler has a capacity problem. The Factory that makes 300Cs,Magnums & Chargers are going full tilt and the shop that makes the 6.1 HEMI's can't fill the orders.
GM Coach division-gone
EMD-GM's Locomotive Division-sold after they ruined it.
Like i said GM SUCKS.

The same TV spot now has the theme from "Stripes".
Some people will happly cut loose the cannons on their own boat.
Loose cannon.
The cannons would punch holes in the boat in a storm.
We invented the TV and not one is made here in America.

Says who?
Chevy HHR is hot, so GM raises target again, looks at boosting production
By JAMIE LAREAU | Automotive News
10/10/05
DETROIT -- General Motors believes it has a hit with the new Chevrolet HHR wagon but must figure out how to build more of them.
"What we're trying to do is ramp up the capacity of the components and the plant so that we can build without having to go build another plant for it," says Lori Queen, GM's vehicle line executive for small cars.
Robert Lutz, GM's vice chairman for product development, says GM plans to produce 120,000 HHRs annually. Production will "probably go up from there," Lutz adds.
Initially, Chevrolet expected to sell 80,000 to 100,000 units annually. In June, GM revised that goal to about 60,000 a year, said Jim Campbell, director of Chevrolet car marketing. Last month, Queen insisted the plan always was to build 100,000 HHRs annually.
Queen says GM is running maximum overtime to build the vehicles at its Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, plant.
She shies away from Lutz's 120,000 annual production target. "I'm hoping we can, but I don't know," Queen says. "I'm trying to understand if I can get to that level." Queen says she must determine whether components and plant capacity are available.
Last month, Chevrolet sold 8,602 HHRs. Sales of the wagon outpaced those of the Scion xB (4,459) and Honda Element (4,988). Chrysler sold 11,742 PT Cruisers last month.
The HHR starts at $15,990, including shipping.
According to the J.D. Power Information Network, the largest bloc of buyers -- 42.7 percent -- were Chevrolet owners. But Lutz says nearly half of the HHR sales comes from owners of competitors' vehicles.
"Any time we get that, we know a vehicle is working for us," Lutz says. "The top markets for it are Southern California, Houston and Dallas, which are areas where it's always hard to achieve breakthrough with a domestic passenger vehicle."

Bloody ignorant rednecks.
ramairgto72 just where do you think the Nissan Titan is designed and built, and where do you think the profits form it sales go to?
Ill give you a clue, the only place in the world you can buy it new is NORTH AMERICA.
If it wasn't for the Japanese there would not be much of a US auto industry any more. Honda, Nissan, Toyota and BMW are the only companys expanding the US based operations at the moment, employing more Americans, opening more plants, investing more money in the US economy, and moving INTERNATIONAL productions lines and design houses out of Europe and Japan into North America.
Mean while GM, Ford and whats left of Crysler are moving thier production plants to Mexico, and thier internation production lines and design houses to Europe, and Japan.
WWII ended several generations ago, its time to stop being a racist ignorant bigot, move on, and accept that the rest of the world is moving towards being a more global economic and cultural comunitiy, where it dosn't matter what country you want to design and manufactor something in.

You call me a "racist ignorant bigot" after you call me a red neck.
I'm a Yankee born in Erie PA, not that it matters, I don't have to prove myself.
What makes America, well America the best place anyplace bar none, is that we work hard and play hard, and we can't be beat in a War.
We as Americans take pride in what we do, and what we make, so when we stop making what we love and pride ourselfs on, we get kinda pissed.
What did IceLand do in WW2? I allready know this answer.
Maybe IceLand needs a few attacks on it?
To everyone who reads this I want you to see why America is what it is, People hate what we have, they hate our power in the world, and if they can't take it, they want to destroy it.
This Mop is found "Wanting" he will never know the pride of being American, we won our freedom for ourselfs and then the world so many times in our short time as a nation, more then any place , any state or country.
Maybe you would think different Mop if Japan had inslaved your people to work in it's factorys, burn your soldiers alive to save ammo and shop off the heads of your militarys best as a trophy?
You should read up on American History before you make those comments !?
This is the second time you got into my face MOP, and this is the 2nd time i'm putting you back in your place:)
Thank your countrys freedom on the allies of WW2, oh and that would include America.
When your work helps put American Companys out of work, your helping to kill America. The Titan is being made here to try to put out the fire of it being known as a non American Truck, why in the world would the loose money by making trucks here? It's all about image, they want to look like it all good, they take a loss to plant a seed, whats to keep them from pulling up roots 20 years from now after they swing a death blow to GM, or even Ford? NOTHING, they are invaders, and every TV spot plays off them being so great and Giveing Americans Jobs, but in the end, they are invaders takeing Amercan Jobs by takeing the future.
Mop you up.
