Bloody hell, my van has died for the first time in the middle of town in Victoria for no reason. Anybody running a propane on converted Astro van? i had mine towed for the first time to my place from Victoria to Nanaimo "160 km" tow and thank god i paid for the premium service for BCAA. does anybody has experienced a failure to the auto shut valve on the propane? i have sparks " as i got sparked ", no frost anywhere for a sign of a propane leak "so far negative for leaks" and i pushed my cute little button to see if i had pressure in my evaporator and i had nothing coming out of there. my fuel pump relay is working and so as my relay for the propane is also working, so my only guess is my auto shut off valve when dead on me while driving. my tank was half full when she suddenly died on me when i applied the brakes in the middle of town.
my only guess, well i have a few, corroded connection, bad relay for my fuel relay or bad coil for my auto shut off valve. Any other idea? or did i really fried my engine this time. i am overdue for one anyway.
Any suggestion will be gladly appreciated, or simply say it. go get yourself another Van, you will know my answer. NOOOOOOO i love my van especially this one. spent too much money on it to get rid of it, so suggestion will be welcome.
Cheers
