help with '92 civic mirror installation

i have a 1992 civic VX, it is canadian so i only have one mirror and i want two so i got CF m3 blinker non power ones.when removing the mirrors, where do i start? where do i unclick the thing that is holding it in and do i need to remove the door panel?
