Isn't there any BMW dealership in Portugal? You should be able to order this model from them as I'm sure they probably already got it a long time ago.....

AMNES:
well I live somewhere in the east coast hehe  ......

But really for those of you who are interested in collecting BMWs, Kyosho is definitely one to go as I think their quality is the best in terms of BMWs that they make (btw I'm not a kyosho salesperson just giving a suggestion :p ...)

well i wish a great company like kyosho or aa(?) would create the whole line up of mb cars including amg cars. there arn't too many modern day amg cars available other than the slk55(motormax) and sl55(maisto). although most of the line up is made today some of them arn't of the best detail. i would say that bmw fans should consider themselves lucky that there is a good company to produce the whole lineup of cars and some m power cars. to the best of my knowlege there isn't a diecast x5 4.6s right? wait is it 4.6s well correct me if im wrong. is there a x5 4.6 (the sport version) thing? just wondering.

Oh I see. I guess the model is probably on backorder so you would probably have to wait a while then......

As far as I know there are diecasts for X5 (maybe not 4.6s, I'm not a fan of any SUVs so I'm not sure) and X3.
I think Aa is making a good lineup of MB if you check the product list on their site (s class, SL600....etc). There isn't a whole line up of their models because I think they simply have TOO MANY models like a class, b, c, e, r and s class. Then there is sl, slk, slr, clr, clk, cls etc etc, (I don't even know what else is there )I mean there is just way too many models in their lineup so I think it would be impossible for a single model company to make a whole lineup of thier cars.

yeah I wish.....but those three cars add up to about $200,000 so this probably won't happen to me in like forever:biggrin:.........

i know that aa has a lineup. just none of the today cars. they only have the new s-class and maybachs. the g-class was the version before it was brought over to the u.s. aa is reproducing older mb cars.

G35XAndTrailBlazer
01-15-2006, 06:02 PM
Yea, AA needs to make new cars. Not all these old farts. They make a Jeep Wagoneer. WOS GONNA BUY A JEEP WAGONER WHEN YOU COULD HAVE LIKE A FERRARI ENZO OR SOMTHING??

nosliw2004
01-16-2006, 01:10 AM
i know who wants that jeep wagoneer. well look at it this way. in 30 years you can get your 1998 ml320 by aa. lol. by then i bet the radio is actully gonna work. that would be pretty sweet.

Isn't SL600 a modern car? and like I said, the CLS by Kyosho is also worth a try.... and it is pretty modern too:p

and yeah i'd like to see someone other than Hotwheels to
make the Ferraris. I know Kyosho is making Enzo 1/43........I'm really hoping that they'll make it in 1/18 as well. Come on Kyosho please...please...please...please...ok I'll stop

yeap...i'm waiting too... :grinyes:
Legolas what color of M6 did you guys order? Is also red or is it in a different color?

nosliw2004
01-17-2006, 06:17 PM
yo diecast fan. sig a lil too big. lol. they're making the 600sl. r129 is the code i believe. that is the old sl. the one before the current one. the one that has square headlights. at least that's what i think they're making.

diecastfan84
01-17-2006, 10:39 PM
Is it the old SL really? Damn I got excited and was thinking to get this model when its released as I think SL (the current one) is one of the better looking MB out there. And yeah I know my sign is too big, I'll try to make it smaller or change it later on....

nosliw2004
01-17-2006, 11:31 PM
i just double checked on aa's website. first of all they said 600sl. mercedes just recently changed all of their cars around the mid 90s where they changed from having the letters after the number to after the number. so when you see 600sl for example you know that it was made before the mid 90s. and the code name aa gave was r129. the older sl-class with the square headlights is named r129. i would also be surprised if aa made the new sl-class because minichamps and maisto already makes it.

G35XAndTrailBlazer
01-18-2006, 11:47 AM
Nbody else makes the new SLK besides Maisto, right?

nosliw2004

correct. same with the old slk.

thats the most beatifull color for it...but it almost out the blue and golden color for M6 as well =)

Oh ok. I thought one of you might order the bronze or the blue one as they also look rather good though... But yeah, indianopolis red is probably the best color for this model.

Neither am I. By the way, I think Welly also makes the slk, don't they? I'm not sure if that's the one you guys are talking though...

i love that black m3 !!!
Thanks, I like M3 in black too,...... and I think it would also look great in silver.

whoa i was spacing out. maisto makes the slk230 with either top up or down (non moveable) welly makes the slk30 with top up or top down (non moveable) and motormax makes the slk55 with a working top. all i need is the slk350 to complete the collection of slks!

diecastfan84
01-19-2006, 07:54 PM
Is there really a difference between those slks (appearance that is)?

nosliw2004
01-19-2006, 09:30 PM
do you mean diecast wise or 1:1 wise. well i own the motormax and the maisto and diecast wise the maisto has a better shapped body. there arn't too many imperfections. the motormax has the parktronic (parkin sensors) ont he front and not the back! bit the motormax does have the workable roof but it isn't that nice. maisto's workable roof's are the best (besids minichamps's sl but i havn't seen it before in real life but i assume it's better) like if you're talking 1:1 wise the slk230 (only available in europe) has different wheels than that of the 350. the slk55 has a different body kit and rims. but on the minichamps the wheels don't look anything like 1:1. the spokes are like twice as thin! hope this answers your question

Yea, the SL 600. I was jsut wondering if AA made it.

600sl aa makes. ther currently isn't an sl600 available. you can get the sl500 and sl55. and diecast fan even though it's a 2001 model mercedes hasn't updated the car yet so it still looks like a 2006 model.

REALLY? I wonder who would buy the 'new 2006 SL class' then. I mean, If I were going for this car I'd just buy the 2001 model in good used condition since the price for the brand new ones are outrageous:wink:.
