Yes I was wondering if anyone could help me locate the drain plug for the manual transmission on a 98 cavalier z24 (2.4 engine if it makes a diffrence). I have located the filling point no problem, just can't find the drain plug.
Also one more question: My car calls for the GM Syncromesh manual trans fluid. Prestone and Amsoil have released their own comparable versions of the fluid, but it's synthetic. I've always heard that you could NOT change type of fluid in the transmission between the two (synthetic and regular). Any tips on what I should use and what is the best? Thanks for any help in advance.

im not 100% sure on this but i thought they just used like a vacuum pump to suck it all out of where you fill it up at (hence there would be no drain plug)
