wel my radiator had to be replaced and now it sounds fine but it takes about 10 - 15 min. to get up in temp. that's about 5 - 20min. longer then normal......well once it gets up to temp it only pumps out cold air for about 20 min. then really really hot air and my temp on the gauge is reading at about 205 - 220 so what is wrong?? cause normally it would slowly rise to 195 and pump out warmer and warmer air but never that hot any ideas??? and no the coolant seems to be fine is there like a certain precudure that i need to follow in order to make it work right?? ohh yeah my new radiator is a bit wider then the stock one but the places i've called all say that is the only replacement radiator other then the one you buy from chevy any ideas???

first make sure there is no air in the system that means u have to purge the system from any amount of air

second u have to check all hoses for restriccions

third check ur thermostat and replace it with a mopar oem 195

You have to burp some of them.
You did not tell what you have like make model year and engine and what color or how many doors.:grinyes:
Some have bleeders on top of eng. some you have to remove or loosen a hose on upper part of eng or pull a heater hose off and let air bleed out.
But use caution doing this. Hot coolant can burn.:grinyes:
Also make sure the thermostat is good and installed the right way.
