I have an 83 mustang gl with a 4 spd I also have a 351 c form a 79 cougar with a c4 i would like to swap the 4 out and drop the 351c in it what all do I need to do for the swap and is there a kit for the parts I need. What motor mounts do I need and what crossmember do I need for motor and trans I have a 8.8 posi rearnd installed already I have heard the I need to change the oil pan if so what one do I need. I know I can get the headers from summit for the swap will 5.0 motor mounts work I know that the engine will set up higher then the 2.3 but if worst comes to worst I can cut a hole and put a hood scoop in her. If someone out there had all the instructions that would be awsome I need help on this one if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated thanks

If the 351 is the original engine for that Cougar, it is not a 351C. It would be a 351W, which is a Windsor. The C or Cleveland was only produced from 1970 to 1974. Either way, the following applies to both;

Assuming the 351 is a complete running engine, all you need are swap headers and an oil pan, maybe the accessory brackets too.
