Are your part numbers on them 9005 and 9006? If so then you just got replacement bulbs that are brighter than stock. HID kits start around $300-400 dollars and require some wiring and mounting the ballasts. So to change the bulbs you have, you'll need to remove the radiator shroud which are held in place with black locking tabs. Get a cet of pliars and pull up on the raised black center on those. Under neat that, you'll need to remove the 2 bolts holding the headlight housing to the car. The whole assembly will then come out. Then in the back just unplug the 2 harness and then twist the bulbs out of the sockets. Install in reverse and what ever you do, DO NOT touch the bulbs of your new lights. If you do, they will blow on you.

I thought the HID's will heat up the plastic so much it will melt and cause a fire. I have seen 2 people do this to ther cav. and had the same prob! You got balls doing that!

Theyre not HID. Theyre just brighter and have a filter that allows whiter light to pass. New bulbs dont draw that much more, if any, than stock. True HID's require a higher amount of power , hence the starters and thicker gauge wiring. They are Xenon gas, which is mainly why they cost so much.

Yea they are just xenon gas light bulbs that give an HID look but they are not HID it is just the light bulb are brighter than the stock ones, and give out a white blue kind a color, so i doubt they will burn my wiring

No, real HIDs are Xenon.

Your bulbs are a filament.
