Dimming headlights

i have a 2000 sport, my headlights keep dimming on both high and low beam ? and whats so special about a sport model anyway

Sport has better sespention and has a metal cover that is around the gas tank. The dimming could be the alternater or batt. check them both and get a load test done by autozone.

Whats your volt gauge read? Could be the alt. but if you are reading 13 or 14 volts, I would look elsewhere first, like maybe a loose or corroded ground.

The sport has the upgraded dash with guages and tach and higher end wheels. Theres no difference in the suspension or drivetrain. The metal skid plates and HD suspension only come on the Upcountry package and can be had on any of the trim levels.
