The Supra guy seemed pretty down to Earth. Looked like he bogged it off the line a bit... ah well, still a fast car!

I wonder why the supra guy didnt want to run the first time they lined up but did the second time.....

well, the video kind of explained it.

It was the Supra owners first time at the track in his car, and he wanted two practice runs to get used to it. So I guess that's why he kept declining to race him till he had his two runs according to their predetermined race rules.

Plus, you can tell by the way he launched, that it bogged out each time. He wasn't used to it quite yet... I'm sure they'll rematch it'll be a bit closer race.

Thats Jesus' car. Him and Wolverine have been in a "war" for a while now.

There is a video of them racing on the freeway that got a lot of attention.

Didn't look like he bogged the launch to me. The Supra had a 1.7 sec. 60', which is pretty good, especially for a supra, which are notorious for horrible launches. That stang owner has got some serious skills, cause I can tell he was powershifting all the way down the track. The supra probably has more top end power, but not as much power across the entire rpm band IMO.
