On the way back from my GF's house i ran across a red 260Z...had a bunch of stickerso n it, Holley Carbs, Edlebrock, Flowmaster, Nissan Performance Parts, Nitto... yeah. We catch a red light and i look over, thinking what a waste the car is going to. I give it a rev for shits and it revs back i figure "cool, more practice on launches"
Turn light goes yellow and i rev to a steady 2500, do like a heel toe type thing and drag the clutch to load the drive train abotu 1sec before i expect the light to go green.
Green, BEAUTIFUL LAUNCH. No bog, no wheel spin, no studder. :iceslolan
Apparently the 260 stalled or something, i look to the side and its gone, look ahead and there is nohting there, look back and i am 5 lengths ahead of him.
maybe he wasnt racing...just though it would be funny.
So in the far lane 2 cars back there was an Escelade who whitnised this. He move through traffic and got in the far right lane and i was in the far left. I figured on my way home i'd just pactice launches at ever light i caught for just the 1, 2 shift.
The next light i caught, trun light went yellow and i tried 3,000 RPM.
it was hard to keep it from creaping with the previous 2500 so yeah, anyway. Light goes green, 5,000 RPM, shift to 2nd, by now im 2 car lengths ahead othe the SUV in the middle and me and this white Caddi are dead even, i figure "why not" and hold it to the floor after 2nd gear untill 5,000 comes around agian, during the shift from 1st to 2nd he gained about 1/2 a car on me and pulled untill about 2 cars untill i shut down at 55 or so.
I dont know what engine it was but he was deff racing me, i had the stereo off and it had some type of pipes and of course is auto, it was shifting damn high so had to have the pedal to the floor. But either way i though they where faster than that. 3300lbs or so is what i probably weight and i have maybe 150whp. He on the other hand probably weighs over 4,000Lbs if not closer to 5000 and has at least 250hp.
But w/e. ive found my sweet spot and a good technique. i'd liek to think i can run a high 15 low 16. But i dont really care, it isnt a race truck. :lol:

My friends tibby, the one that we did the intake manifold on, a bunch of people want to race him now. Depending on the situation i may be able to get video i may not.

Rice Spotting last Sat night. Mid 90's Cavi, Big wing, APC stickers, shitty exaust, etc... i gave him a rev in the turn lane and the retard reved back and gave me a "wanna race look" :screwy: i laughed at him and kicked the rear end out as i went around the corner with a nice squeal :sunglasse
