White smoke

I have an 88 EFI Honda Accord. I was on the interstate last night, and I heard a pop. It immediately began burning oil, and sent clouds of white smoke out of the exhaust. The oil ran really low, but the lower it got, the less smoke. I suspect I need to replace the head gasket. Any sugesstions? Am I right in assuming it is a blown gasket?

Yeah,
Buy an eclipse and forget the problems or go to a Honda forum and ask them. Or are you here because and eclipse beat you in the process?

White smoke is you water coolant, not oil. Oil produces a blue smoke. It does sounds like you blew the head gasket though. I would get a compression tester and test that. Other than that, I think you will find better answers over in Honda. "No speak Honda here":)
