No sound from radio

My radio has power and turns on but there is not a sound to be heard from it. I already turned the volume up and checked all connections. If you have any tips i would be very thankful

sounds llike you need a new stereo :p

This is just a guess but a lot of BMW stereos have anti-theft devices where if the battery is disconnected, a code has to be entered in the stereo for it to work properly. I don't know what year or model your car is but it's a thought.

If you give it a good wack, does it fade in and out? Mine has some sort of feedback sound in FM mode. Sometimes it cuts out completely but if I wack the side of it, I can get it back.
