I like the solstice's look actually. I saw it at the dealership and i was surprised by how small it was. really wide too. msrp is like 20k, but they had it for 32k.

After test driving the solstice i decided i dont want one. Im 6'3" 200lbs and i fit just right in it, but it was too just right. I had no room to move after i got everything situated, it was like being in a cockpit. As far as power goes, maybe i'm just used to something a little quicker but it just didn't have the umph that i was expecting, i took it up to 100mph on a test drive and it was struggling to get there with me and another passenger. I think if the thing had around 200 horsepower it would be fine. I'll test drive the turbocharged hard top that's coming out for the '07 model year.


As far as looks, i like the looks of both the solstice and the sky, however the paneling is cheap and shitty on the solstice, probably the same for the sky. We've gotten several solstices in from the factory with problems such as doors misaligned, trunk hatches hard to close and some minor electrical problems. I'd imagine the kinks are getting worked out though.

It does seem to remind me of the Vette out front with a bit of a Cadillac touch, but that's it. Not too shabby IMO. Wouldn't own one ever, but wouldn't turn down an offer to drive one. There are many cars I would choose over this one. I give two thumbs up to Saturn anyway...

this is mostly true, but there are exceptions, due mainly to torque. like i guarentee the ls7 gets better mpg than a 4.0l engine making the same power. because it can sit there and cruise around at 1000 rpms all day. doesnt the ls7 get like 28mpg highway...

The LS7 has 72 hp/liter, but it weighs 71 pounds less than BMW's 5.0 liter 500 hp V-10.
