You have a short in the wiring. Use a wiring diagram to help trace the circuit. Check plugs and connections for anything that is melted. Check wiring in the door jamb (one location where the wiring is always being moved). Disconnect various components (one at a time) and see if you can narrow down the location of the short in the circuit. Be patient and methodical, you will find the short.
I have had similar problems with two cars.
First one was caused by a pinched wire that the insulation wore away. The wire was pinched during a repair that was done a year ealier. It took a year to wear through the insulation and cause the short.
Second car had a burned up plug behind the fuse panel. Finding the burned up plug in this situation was fairly easy. I looked at the wiring diagram and looked for a common point where two circuits could fail.
I made enlarged copies of the wiring diagrams to make them easier to read and make notes on them. I used a highlighter to trace the questionable circuit(s). Then used colored markers to check off sections as I inspected the wiring.
