another coat of clear-coat?

painters on a house just sprayed white house paint on my charcoal grey #95 (02 durango) Since they are paying and I was told to "just get it fixed" should I go for a light coat of clear-coat after they try to buff it off? I am afraid it will start to peel and bubble later if I dont get it sealed good now.
