Shift Kits

Hi I have a 99 Trans AM. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with shift kits. I'm looking to get the best shift kit possible. I want better performance, but it is also my daily driver car as well. Just looking for a good combination that isnt too hard on my car but will really make a difference in performance.
