New Ride

Im about to purchase a vehicle, i need some suggestions on what i should buy for a first time car. Preferrably a 4X4 truck with a V8. Im also more the GM type and looking for something around a chevy silverado 1500. Or even a v8 car. anyone have any suggestions

Might be a little late to reply, but I would hold out until GM does a full rollout of the hybrid silverado. With gas the way it's going it might be a nice option.
