I have a 98 mustang gt and it won't start. It will turn over but won't fire. I have hit the reset switch and still nothing. What else do I do?

Check for spark. Then make sure you have fuel pressure. If you have fuel and fire then you have a big problem. Because that means you have no compression.
Or its jumped way out of time.

How do you know if you have fuel pressure? I can't smell any gas or anything like that. As for the spark it sparks when it wants to.

go buy a gauge... or you can take out a spark plug to see if the tip is wet....or you can have a friend open up the schrader vaulve while you try to start it. the third is probly the easiest way. the schreder vualve is on the fule rail. it looks just like an air valve stem on a tire. a small black scree off cap. tak it off and hit it. if you have fule pressure fule will spray out. its not that bad just make sure your not smokin haha. you really dont need to try to start it, accesories possiition should prime the fule pump and might do it. not sure. good luck.

Can you hear the fuel pump start up when the ignition is turned on? May want to check that. The relay or pump may be bad if you do not hear it. Oh and check the fuse. Does the vehicle have a distribution pack or a distributor?
